Sir Keir Starmer will push partner nations to deliver Ukrainian forces with further long-range missiles to target Moscow's positions during discussions in the UK capital on this Friday.

Sir Keir will host President the Ukrainian head of state alongside the so-called "group of committed partners", including more than 20 of Kyiv's partners who have agreed to provide Ukraine security guarantees once fighting stops is brokered.

Ukraine's president has been pleading for weeks for further long-range weapons from Western nations, a step that the Russian government has warned would escalate the war.

Ukraine's leader is travelling from Brussels, where he met European representatives on yesterday seeking financial support.

Sir Keir will press participants to increase the supply of advanced missile technology following a successful attack on a manufacturing site in the Russian city, the Russian Federation, using UK-provided Storm Shadow missiles.
